A good friend of mine recently invited me to a project where we each write one or two reflections ahead of time and then throughout let we get a reflection emailed to us each day. So far the other reflections I've read have been moving, thought-provoking, and convicting, and it's been a really wonderful experience I've learned and grown a lot through.
Since today was the day for my first reflection, I thought I'd post it here, too:
(As a side note, Lent is typically a time of repentance and mourning in Christianity, so it's maybe not the most positive thing I've ever written.)
On a related note, if you'd like to receive reflections during the rest of lent, we'd love to have you join us! All the days for writing are taken, but if you message me I can add you to the mailing list :)
